Association of Certified Commercial Diplomats (ACCD), which focuses on the protection, promotion, strengthening and safeguarding of the commercial diplomatic integrity, professionalism and standards, provides a wide range of professional membership options that are tailored to recognize seasoned career practitioners, including appropriately accredited commercial diplomats and new prospective practitioners alike. ACCD is the first ever extraterritorial rules-based representative body and regulatory authority for commercial diplomats, commercial diplomatic profession, system-wide practices, and commercial diplomatic institutions. Accreditation and Standardization Enforcement Oversight The Presidium convenes as the Court Assembly to deal with accreditation and standardization enforcement oversight matters and disputes in accreditation procedures, especially between practitioner-candidates and the ACCD-CDRA. The Presidium is empowered with statutory responsibility, rights and plenipotentiary powers, as well as the authority to establish tribunals and related-relevant panels, refer matters relating to admission and accreditation procedures to the appropriately constituted 'appellate authority', and receive accreditation and admission reports, ensuring the implementation of recommendations and rulings contained in such reports, and authorization of actions, including the suspension of, and de-accreditation or expulsion of accredited commercial diplomats, especially in the event of non-compliance with recommendations and rulings contained in decisions made by any of the constituted bodies.
