Full Membership:

ACCD provides a wide range of membership options that are tailored to recognize seasoned practitioners and new applicants alike. The cadres of individual membership are complimented by a corporate option which is reserved for institutions that display an outstanding contribution to the profession of diplomacy.

This mid-career/senior membership category is open to experienced practitioners who have completed all the essentially required ACCD-CoDRA approved, authorised and recommended mandatory qualifying competency-based modules in the WTO courses that shall make up the Master Certificate of Competency in Commercial Diplomatic Practice 'Mandatory Practice Course'.

The practitioner-candidate shall be required to satisfy council with substantial career progression and produce evidence of seniority and experience in professional commercial diplomatic practice.

Full Members are persons of outstanding intellectual ability with well established reputation in the commercial diplomatic profession.

Election Requirements

Only those who have completed:

• Master Certificate of Competency in Commercial Diplomatic Practice or acceptable equivalent in related-relevant programme, or
• The WTO Advanced Certificate in International Trade-related Policy (Level 3) covering all the essentially required mandatory qualifying competency-based modules.

Candidates shall:

• have registered for the QPA ‘Mandatory Qualifying Programme’;
• be or have been in employment (Management/Executive level) for an aggregate of at least seven years or more; and
• be willing and able to promote, contribute to and actively support the mission and objectives of the global professional body.

Full Members of ACCD are to safeguard, promote and protect the integrity of the Professional Body (The Association) and the profession of commercial diplomacy.
